The KCAs were the worst in the history of KCAs. First of all, they barely mentioned slime. HOW CAN YOU NOT?!! That's like the logo, of Nickelodeon! Oh, right, they changed the logo to a more "classy" look. If you ask me, that's a stupid decision. Cartoon Network is supposed to have the classic, not bight and flashy black-and-white logo, while Nick is supposed to have the orange splatterific (add that to the dictionary, please) logo with the white letters! Now they've traded it in for a nice, and organized "Nick." NOT Nickelodeon's style!! It needs to be more extravagant! Second, the KCAs didn't even present some awards! For example, Katy Perry won best singer (Taylor Swift should have won, though!) And, during the commercial break, they announce it! But there's no host, stage, or anything! Just an image of Katy, and the title, "Best Singer" with Tom Kenny narrating! I'm very steamed at the low quality of this year's KCAs. I expected more! Last year, tons of people got slimed! Now, I guess due to budget cuts, only four people got slimed! I apologize for my rant. I had to say it though!
Putting my big KCA rant aside, I would like to say that everything is going "internet themed." Cartoon Network, one of my favorite channels, has adopted their old logo back (yay!), but has put a 21st century spin on it. With all of this "revolutionary" junk coming out, or, "technology," as some prefer to call it, I'm getting lost in it. This new style was only original for a short amount of time, then instantly went Cliché. Everything has the "modern," and "internet" style now. I'm REALLY fed up with it. It's not the fact that Nick has pretty much abandoned it's former look, or that Cartoon Network has too many short-term shows, it's that the older styles has their own "class." Do you remember the old block letters spelling out "Cartoon Network"? Or the splatterific "Nickelodeon" logo? Everyone who remembers those days must have SOME lust to go back to the old. But no, every network has to keep it "fresh." How annoying.
Okay, I think I'm through with the rants of how things have gone to the dark side with two certain networks...ANYWAY, Spring has finally arrived, which is why I've changed my background to my blog. I'm especially enthusiastic about Easter. My sister, Faye, has her birthday on the 13th. That's really great. It's far away from Easter this time, which is easier on all of us. Last year, her birthday was a day after Easter (What a hassle!) But luckily, it won't happen again for a long, long time. Sometimes it's a bit drab, and grueling (not Oliver Twist gruel), having my birthday in September. It's RIGHT when school starts! When I tell my teachers "Hey, my birthday was four days ago." All they do is say, "Great." What about ME? When a child comes back from the weekend, and says, "It was my birthday on Saturday!" The teachers give them a pencil! Where's MY pencil?! That's favoritism!! Ah well, if you read this huge chunk of a blog post, I'm proud of you. YOU deserve a pencil. Now go, run along. I SAID, "RUN ALONG!" Okay, bye, NOW! Oh, and enjoy this video of some turkies (is it turkeys?) in my yard!
