I hate college boys. They are one of the big reasons I'm not so amped about returning to college after break. In September, I had one in particular who was a transfer student who asked me for my number(which I dumbly gave), kept asking me to lunch, and tried schmoozing with me in the hallway. It was not fun. Then, I tried becoming friends with a guy of my choice at the time who had complimented my Regular Show T-Shirt I was wearing, and we exchanged numbers. To my horror, he later on turned out to be embarrassing to be around in that he had no concept of social awareness whats-o-ever...So we just kind of stopped talking. I mean, he would start rambling about mindless personal junk and barely leave a gap in for the listener to interject. My teeth are probably permanently damaged from all the grinding I did as a result of these two. And I do hate most college girls as well, but in a different and much less powerful way. That's a ramble for another time.
On a much less somber note, I'm on season 6 of The X-Files now. The first movie was great!! As a fan, it does explain a lot of what happened and fills in season 5's cliffhanger. As an outsider first watching the movie, it may not make as much sense. That's understandable. It's funny to me too how Mulder gets shot in the head, and gives no concern about it in the movie. He leaps out of his hospital bed in search of Scully. Who cares if I nearly just died! What about mygirlfriend--I mean PARTNER? Also Kyrcek is pretty darn off-putting to me, I now see. Although, I don't think he was really in the movie? All the Mulder/Krycek fics and art out there are pretty funny, though. Not because it's a gay ship (which isn't funny), but because there's no hint of romance at all. There have been a number of times where the one has held the other at gun point, and vice versa. Enjoy it if you want, is all I'm saying. But I do not see a ship that makes sense here. Another example: I used to be really into Regular Show like I am with TXF now. At least with the ship Morby , there were possible moments which could be interpreted as flirting. They got awfully cozy with one another sometimes. It was kinda cute. There was no gun-cocking at one another. No threats. I just don't find the actor who plays Krycek too attractive either though, so that might have to do with it.
I'm much more of a Mulder person, myself. *Heh heh*

By the way, when searching for the above image, I was barraged with bizarre Photoshops of this pairing, one of which included both of them a bathtub. I hope you're happy. I was also reminded of the existence of an airbrushed portrait of Assistant Director Skinner, Alex Krycek and Fox Mulder sensually rubbing each others' faces. Nope. Not gonna put that one here either. But hey, if it floats your boat rubber-ducky and doesn't hurt anyone, who am I to judge? I've drawn my fair share of Morby over the years. Maybe not as weird or sexually charged as this fanart is, but you get my point.
A lot of fans say quality of episodes starts getting questionable around season 6. I...begrudgingly agree. The movie was awesome, yes. After the movie it seems to lose a little of its spark. There's a lot of Scully-centric episodes which are becoming more common now. I wouldn't mind this if Mulder wasn't so absent in them. What makes these characters interesting is when they interact and bounce ideas off each other. I also don't like just Mulder episodes much either, like "Travelers" of season 5. I respect that these episodes do establish things about the characters and show backstories and stuff, but I don't like them much, personally. I skipped over the one where Scully gets a tattoo because of this, even though a lot fans say it's in their top favorites.
To each their own.
